Official Synopsis: "Anna is happy in Atlanta. She has a loyal best friend and a crush on her coworker at the movie theater, who is just starting to return her affection. So she's less than thrilled when her father decides to send her to a boarding school in Paris for her senior year. But despite not speaking a word in French, Anna meets some cool new people, including the handsome Etienne St. Clair, who quickly becomes her best friend. Unfortunately, hes taken-and Anna might be, too. Will a year of romantic near misses end with the French kiss she's been waiting for?"

My Review:This book is by far one of my favorite contemporary novels I have ever read! This book is the first one in a series, the next two are Lola and the Boy Next Door, and Isla and the Happily Ever After.

The book starts off with the main character telling us what she knows about France and talking about her father enrolling her in boarding school. Anna doesn't have that great of a relationship with her father, so when he makes the decision of sending her to boarding school without asking her opinion, she's not very happy. When she gets to Paris she meets a girl named Meredith who willingly invites her into their social group. In their group there is a charming, handsome boy named St. Clair. Anna and St. Clair start developing feelings for one another, but there is one problem, he has a girlfriend. The story mainly consists of the events leading up to them actually having a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.

One of the things I really liked about this book is the characters knew when they were at fault and tried to make it better. Also because the characters were FAR from perfect in both their looks and family life. I thought the connection between all the characters was extremely realistic and well written. The setting was so realistic, it actually felt like I was in Pairs. (I'm a bit mad that I choose to study Spanish instead of French now... lol) I recommend this book for anyone who loves contemporaries or just wants to read a sweet and romantic love story.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!
