My Review:"Here is the boy, drowning." That's the first line of the book, and that's what got my attention. In the beginning we read a gruesome seen where the main character, Seth is drowning. When he wakes up he's laying on an abandoned street; actually the same street in England that he lived on as a young boy. But Seth is convinced he's in his own personal hell because this street holds some of his worst memories. Seth has to figure out where he is and what exactly happened, because he remembers dying. He remembers killing himself... The book will take you back in Seth's memories and show you his life and the events leading up to the drowning. The book spends most of the time in the present day. Seth will learn that he's not alone in this strange land. He meets a couple of friends who eventually piece together the mystery. But it's not that easy; there is a strange man trying to come after and kill them... But aren't they already dead?  That's what Seth and his friends have to find out.

I want to say that this book deals with some issues that might not be appropriate for younger readers. When you're reading this book you will start to question everything that's happening, and that's what I love about it, it makes you think. The character development was amazing!!!! Seth comes to terms with a lot of things from his past and learns to forgive others as well as himself. It really teaches the reader a lot about letting things go. The world building was pretty good. It did a good job of explaining it, but I don't know if I could visualize it completely. I recommend this book if you want to read something completely different than you have ever read before.

I give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars!
