SUPRISE #1
Jackie's family dies in a freak car accident.

SUPRISE #2
Jackie has to move cross-country to live with the Walters-her new guardians.

SUPRIZE #3
The Walters have twelve sons.
(Well, eleven, but Parker acts like a boy anyway.)

Jackie is now surrounded by the enemy. Loud, dirty, annoying boys-who have no concept of personal space. Okay, several of the oldest guys are flat-out gorgeous. But still annoying. She's not stuck-up or boring-no matter what they say. But proving it is another matter. How can she fit in and move on when she needs to keep her parent's memory alive by living up to the promise of perfect?"

My Review: To start off this review I'm just going to say that I am IN LOVE with this book! The characters are just perfect, the story made me laugh, it made me cry, it was an AMAZING book!

It starts off with the main character, Jackie, packing up to leave her multi-million dollar penthouse in New York to live with a couple of strangers and their kids in Colorado. We discover why she is moving, and it's because all of her family, her parents, and sister, died in a car accident a few months ago. She now has to live with one of her mom's old friends in Colorado. What anyone failed to mention was the lady, whose name is Katherine, has twelve kids... TWELVE BOYS!

Once she gets to Colorado she feels like she is in the middle of nowhere... And it doesn't help that when she meets the boy's they are all GORGEOUS! And ornery.... Immediately they start to play pranks on Jackie and she doesn't know what todo... Keep in mind that Jackie's mother was a well known fashion designer, and her dad was a VERY successful business person. Also Jackie has gone to an all girls boarding school sense she was in 6th grade. Now she's living in a house with 12 boys, is going to a public school, and she has to live on a ranch... Talk about culture-shock!

Jackie is beautiful, so obviously the older teenagers start to like her, but two in particular, Alex and Cole... Alex is the sweet, nerdy, video games guy; and Cole the "golden boy" He's the most popular kid in school, has every girl drooling over him, but he is also a VERY big player.... Except he is starting to REALLY care for Jackie and when she acts like he is no big deal, and blows him off in front of his friends, he makes it his mission to have her and he won't stop until he does... This book was sooooo cute and adorable, I loved all of the characters, it was hilarious but also serious at times, and those moments made the book have a deeper meaning.

I was very happy that the main character was a strong and independent young women, and she didn't need to have a man to be successful and she knew it! It made me really pleased especially after reading Black Ice... Where the main character only thought about guys.... I also really liked Jackie because she reminded me of myself, I feel like if I was in her situation I would do the exact same thing as her. The character development in Jackie was huge! She learned that she didn't have to be perfect to make her parents proud... The writing was easy to read, but at times it could of used some more detail to visualize the scene. I really got attached to the characters and felt what they were feeling, and that is definitely a sign of a good book! At first it was a little bit hard to remember who was who but eventually I figured it out. This book was a refreshing read and was an overall well written book. I recommend it to anyone who wants a cute contemporary read!

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!
