Official Synopsis: "After a long and heartbreaking journey to Siberia, Dimitri's birthplace, Rose Hathaway has finally returned to St. Vladimir's-and to her best friend, Lissa Dragomir. It's graduation, and the girls can't wait for their real lives outside the Academy's cold iron gates to finally begin. But even with the intrigue and excitement of court life looming, Rose's heart still aches for Dimitri. He's out there, somewhere.

She failed to kill him when she had the chance, and now her worst fears are about to come true. Dimitri has tasted her blood, and she knows in her heart that he is hunting her. And if Rose won't join him, he won't rest until he has silenced her... forever."

My Review:
Rose has returned to the Academy to finally graduate and try to rebuild her old relationships. Unfortunately Rose failed to kill Dimitri when she had the chance. On top of that he's sending Rose these creepy "I'm going to kill you, even though I love you" letters...

In this book Victor and his brother make a lot of appearances. Victor's brother is the only person who has allegedly brought a Strigoi back from the dead. And Rose will stop at nothing to find a way to bring Dimitri back to his old self.

So many things happened in this book. Rose and Adrian are a couple and Lissa and Christian are still having their problems. Most of the setting is at court because now that all the Dhampir's have graduated they need to be assigned royal Moroi.

Towards the end of the book a HUGE plot twist happened!!! Because of this plot twist Abe comes back into the picture, which I am really excited about because I think he's pretty awesome!

There was a few parts in the book which I felt dragged on a bit, but I can over look that. The love triangle between Rose, Adrian, and Dimitri is written well. I really enjoyed when Adrian and Rose were together because he's so understanding. The character development wasn't great but it was enough. The court system was described wonderfully, I now understand how the Moroi society runs. Overall this is a great installment in the Vampire Academy series and can't wait to read the last book!

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars!
